The stranger stopped talking and left. The silence feels calming at first, but there I am, in a well-lit room with no furniture. Waiting... Waiting for... I really don't know.
Why is it so painful, the waiting? I'm trying to keep my mind at peace, but it seems so hard. Is it even possible to do nothing, to think nothing, after all that just happened? It seems I have no other choice than to do... nothing.
At first I jump up whenever someone walks by the room, trying to get their attention, but no one responds. It's useless, no one sees me. I am about to give up. Hours pass by before I finally stop thinking about what happened, I stop thinking of what might happen. My mind is completely empty and peaceful. Right at that moment, the walls disappear and I can go wherever I want!
